The West Midlands Manufacturing Measurement Centre (WMMMC) is the “One stop shop” for manufacturing businesses in the West Midlands.  The centre is responsible for increasing the awareness and take up of measurement as a key underpinning technology to boost the competitiveness of our manufacturing sector.  

More effective measurement processes can increase profitability and improve efficiency.

RPC PhotoRenishaw Productivity Centre
The WMMMC will be the first of a network of Renishaw Productivity Centres, each equipped with contemporary machine tools and Renishaw metrology equipment, as well as education facilities. Many local SMEs may qualify for regional funding to cover some of their costs. In the case of the WMMMC, support may be available through the Manufacturing Advisory Service - West Midlands.

WMMMC are planning some new monthly workshops on various measurement topics including reverse engineering, CMM Best Practice and large volume metrology.
Crysta2 manufacturing measurementThe Measurement Clubs
Supported by MAS-WM these clubs are designed to promote good measurement in the West Midlands Manufacturing Sector. Each club comprises of 4-5 like minded SME manufacturers brought together to enhance and reinforce their use of measurement within their businesses.
